Memorial Day with the Scouts

Well, I've finally got some pictures of our adventures so far this summer. We spent memorial day in Morgan Ut with the scouts from our ward. Jeremy is the YM pres so that means he gets to spend a lot of time with the youth. We had a blast! Although it was cold and wet, we braved the four wheelers and rode around on the trails. It was a fun, muddy mess and I loved it (so did the baby!! She kept kicking the WHOLE time!) Here are a few pictures from the adventure.

We borrowed a car to drive and I didn't want to get it all dirty from the mud so I was the "nazi" on making sure they didn't have mud anywhere in the car. I made them take off everything that would get the car dirty. This is what everyone's shoes looked like by the end of the trip.

Jeremy and I on our four wheeler. The only argument of the day was who got to drive more than who. We are kids at heart :)

We borrowed the four wheelers from Brother Wall, and most of the kids with us had never been four wheeling before. They were nervous at first, but then they got a little daring. It was fun to watch them, they loved it!

We brought with us tin foil dinners, otherwise known as "hobbo dinners". We stopped at Bro. Wall's ranch and made a fire to cook lunch. This is the before the mud shot....sadly I forgot to get an after mud shot, but the shoes above might give you an idea of what the boys looked like.

(woops, I forgot to rotate this). This is us eating lunch obviously!

...and can I just say it was one of the best lunches ever!

Well, that's all of the pictures I got. The boys kept complaining cause I (the only girl present) kept telling them to pose for pictures...it was like pulling teeth. After this trip I've decided I'll keep my calling in the primary....too many boys make me feel anal. We had a lot of fun though, and I'm glad we could take the boys on this little adventure. It's always a good feeling to get city people out into the country to experience a different way of life. I think it brings out a different side in everyone.
