Hiking to the waterfall

So I'm a little behind on my posts...i'm blogging about MAY! but it's better than nothing!

As soon as school let out and finals were over, we finally had some time to go on a hike that we'd been anticipating for awhile. Jeremy and I wanted to save gas so we took the bus as far as we could towards the trail head and then walked the rest of the way (it was farther than we thought). Jeremy led us up the trail and I slowly lugged along behind him. It again, was longer than we thought it would be, but we finally made it to the top where this beautiful waterfall was.

Jeremy had secretly put in his backpack sandwiches and carrots sticks for us to have at the top so we found a nice sunny spot and ate lunch. It was really sweet.

This is a picture of the view of Ogden (and of my growing belly). It's kind of weird to see myself pregnant in this picture because I don't feel like I'm pregnant, but this picture is proof- I AM.
We had a lot of fun hiking up, but the way down was harder. Weird, I know. It should've been easier, but I think I'm getting old or something because my knees hurt the whole way down. I felt so silly but it took twice as long for us to get down. hehe, poor Jeremy was probably anxious to get going, but he patiently helped me get down. We were soooo happy to see our friend Ian and his dog Kilo at the end of the trail and he offered us a ride home. For that, I was very grateful. I was a lot of fun and I was glad to say that I'd done it!

You look so cute! Thanks for the invite....We will have to do some BBQ now that you can't hike anywhere until that baby comes!
