Pregnant comments

I KNOW that everyone who has ever been pregnant has had some silly people say some silly things to them about their belly size/shape/etc.

Here are a few goodies:
"you sure are porkin' up!" (a married man at church :))
"you've definately popped" (not so bad...I kind of feel like I have)
"you're looking swell" (get it, SWELL?)
"you still have 3 1/2 months to go? you poor girl"
"my second labor was so much harder than my first" (gulp)

and a comment from someone not so silly..
"you're still so small!" ( I really liked her!)

Luckily I agree with all of the comments and don't get offended...I just thought I'd share because I know that every pregnant lady gets them!
The truth is, I love talking about being pregnant. It makes me feel like I have a condition and that people are aware of it and want to help me through it all. :) Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Umm have you ever seen anything like it?

Yes, some of you probably have, but I for one have never seen a spider so big in MY HOUSE!
Can you see the reflection of the flash in his eyes?! And check out the pincers! That's what I'm talking about!
This is his "last living" photo. He was bravely smashed with a newspaper and fell down the back of the dryer where he was promptly vacuumed up. Did I mention that he didn't fit through the end of the skinny hose? Yeah, that's how fat this sucker is (was).
Thank heavens I will sleep better tonight knowing that he has died and gone to heaven.

I have one question...who could seriously handle the "squish" of killing THIS with a shoe? Not me.

Family update

 Kylee and Daddy painting
Ooo!! looks good...add it to the pile of "art" that we're collecting.
I thought I'd post about this baby since I didn't really with Kylee. This is the first picture of my "tummy" and I think this baby is a lot bigger than Kylee was at this point in my pregnancy.
She wanted to be in the picture...but I wish the "rubbish bin' wasn't!
Jeremy at 21 weeks of baby #2. I think he wanted to be in the picture too :) (Actually, I made him take this picture)
I didn't post about it (but meant to) but I gave Kylee girl a hair cut about a month ago. Since my mummy came home from America, she tried out some hot curlers on Kylee for church.
 From the back
"Ta DA!!!" The fnished product. Kylee is working on her "smile" on demand for pictures. Hehe, I think it's cute!
From behind.

Kylee loves getting ready for church and pretty much just loves church all together. On Sunday before we walked into the chapel, she stopped dead in her tracks and pointing her finger at me said  (in the most motherly voice you can imagine) "we have to be quiet, and, we have to be revrent, ok Mum?" "We're not to play on the stairs and we have to sit still" yeah , ok Kylee....I felt like I'd been lectured. Man, this girl makes me laugh.

School is just wrapping up for Jeremy, and I am counting down the days until...my birthday, thanksgiving dinner, Christmas day, Jeremy's birthday, Valentine's day, then BABY day!!!!!!

I've joined a mamma's market and am going to be making crafts to sell at it. The first day is on December 18. I have made only 3 bows...hehe. I have a lot of work to do. I'm going to be selling nursing covers and bows/head bands. hopefully it will all get done in time. I am going to he honest here. I hate crafts, I hate sewing and I hate selling stuff....but I'm doing it anyway (and smiling the whole way too!) Hopefully I can make my profit just in time for Chrissy shopping!

Sometimes you just have to LAUGH~!

So today I was making Kylee and myself a Milo (like ovaltine, but YUMMIER!) when she accidentally pinched her finger in the cupboard door. I stopped what I was doing to give her a cuddle when I SWUNG my hand and knocked the whole cup of milk and milo right on top of her...literally RIGHT on her head, down her shirt (there was milo in her pockets) HAHA. She was already crying but that turned it up a whole decibel! She screamed and I just laughed. I couldn't stop. There was milo EVERYWHERE and kylee just stood there crying. I had to brush the milo out of her hair in the shower it was so bad.
There is literally no point in crying over spilt milk and I definitely got a good laugh out of it. I just love being a mommy!

Today at the park, someone asked me when I was due. Good thing I'm prego, or that would've been AWKWARD!

Birthday at the Beach

We celebrated Kylee's 2nd Birthday on Saturday.

We had lots of friends, lots of presents, lots of water fights, and lots of SUGAR!!
Kylee was pretty good keeping the cupcakes at home and not eating them. She tried to sneak one once, but I caught her and told her to wait for her party.
She was pretty pleased with them as you can see.
All in all it was a success! We had stormy clouds all morning before the party, then SUN for the party, then rain right as we were leaving! I can't believe my little girl is two!

Alright alright I'll update!

Here are a FEW pictures (and I mean a few...we have tons of picture!) from our trip to America. We had so much fun but would've like to stay a little longer. We missed seeing a few people and would've like to spend a bit more time with others but, I keep saying that it's best to leave wanting more, because then you'll want to come back.
Sugar house park
Annaleigh and I...and Kylee didn't want to take the picture
There's nothing like a lunch date with the girls (and Jere!) at Cafe Rio...mmmmm yum! And yes, you can see I ordered my very own salad...not to be shared with anyone! (except ky of course!)
Then we went to:
...with Jeremy's family which was so fun.
And of course went to Lifetime Fitness and joined in the local ZUMBA class because like the shirt says, it's fun, inspiring, dance, (done well with) Friends and makes me laugh! I love Zumba!
and while at the gym took a dip in the pool with Teegan and Kale and Megan
We visited Idaho and took some cousins photos with Avery. It was really hot and Kylee was sharing her water with Avery...if you look closely you can see the BITE mark my daughter left Avery to remember her by...poor Avery handled her scary cousin so sweetly. I sure loved getting to know her!
We had a YUMMY costco lunch with the Hodges...more cousins that we love to death....Kylee LOVED seeing cousins on our trip. She doesn't really know what cousins are because Kylee can't see her cousins that live here (there mother won't let them...) so she absolutely soaked it all in. I was glad to see her getting to know her other family members that we love and miss sooooo much.

Some other things we did on our trip:
Stood in the lavatories of the plane for a good 2 hours with Kylee screaming her head off on the way there
Said hello to my bro in Ontario (I'm a poet and I know it!)
Went rowing in a Canoe in the beautiful WA state with my other brother's fam and got to my hold my adorable new niece.
Hung out in Boise with my other bro and his family and loved every minute.
LOTS OF SHOPPING
Barbecues
Saw friends that were heading off to med school

Huge maguge slip n slide with Ben and Melaina and Tim and Whitney and family

a piece of humble cake

you know those times when you feel like giving yourself a pat on the back and think to yourself "man, my child is perfect and I am doing a pretty good job at being a Mom. I can trust that my 20 month old daughter can hold a piece of cake in the car and not eat it because I've taught her self control and skills that will carry on into her adulthood.....blah blah blah" to find that half way home she has actually ripped the saran wrap off and has helped herself to "daddy's" piece of cake (with BLACK frosting). I just have to laugh at myself sometimes because no matter how many times I think i'm the best, reality brings me back down and gives me a serving of humble pie, or cake??

Happy Easter!

We went camping over Easter weekend at Bunnamagoo, my paren'ts property. It was soooo much fun, perfect weather, perfect company, all the little kids and babies were practically perfect and we stayed up late talking by the fire every night. it's just what all camping trips should be like! This is the group of us, just friends from church (missing kylee and Jeremy- napping)
Anita and Kylee on the big swing. Kylee was such a social butterfly the whole time. She was always hanging around the other parents trying to get a cuddle or something.

Kylee girl

On our beach excursion, we found this hiking stick which Kylee hung onto the whole time. She even fell asleep with it in her hand.

bathing with buddies in the sink....with warm water heated up by the fire. The kids thought it was so fun, except River wouldn't have anything to do with it untill all the girls were out of the bath!

Montana Rea and Kylee

Here are a few photos from home. Kylee is a little mummy. She has her church bag and baby and she walks around saying ."go" she's just like me :)

Obviously it was a bright sunny day, so we took what will probably be the last trip to the beach for the summer. It was a lot of fun.

Isn't Jeremy a hunk? haha

more camping photos....Carrie Montana and Kylee

Kylee was the big girl and tried to play with the little kids. In this picture she was taking Monty "walking"
Well that's a short update for now. We're really looking forward to our visit in June!

UPDATE

Nanny and Kylee on Australia Day (it's a fake tatto, don't worry)

Australia Day is January 26th. It's like 4th of July in America. We met at the beach with our ward and had breakfast,

Then went for a dip because it was soooo hot....

...And SOMEBODY (supposedly I did), forgot to bring Jeremy's swimming suit so he went in his shorts,

and Kylee and Mummy thought it was pretty funny,
and mummy didn't forget her NEW swimmsuit from Limericki.com, and Kylee's "rashy" to protect her from the sun.
We had a fun filled day, the weather was great! Happy Australia Day! We're lucky that we get to celebrate both countries "special" day because we'll be there on the 4th of July! I have to admit that I missed the fireworks in UT.

Gardening with Nanny
Kylee and her garden tools,

she's a natural

After Gardening we washed the cars. Bill filled up this bucket of water for Kylee and she loved it, just hopped in with her clothes on!

We have to be sun safe, Kylee always has her hat. :)

Grandpa comes in sometimes and always has "lollies" for Kylee. This time it's a gummy worm,

which Kylee obviously enjoyed, and I think she swallowed it up in one go!

I bet you can't guess what Kylee's favorite letter is! And of course, the video ends with Kylee trying to hold the camera to see the video. Most of our videos we take of her have to be secretive otherwise, she stops doing what she's doing and comes over to grab the camera!

Something I've learned recently is that metaphors work when talking to my husband. I've found a way to make myself happy in doing so:). I hope that what I've learned can help others. This is what I've learned.

You can't expect orange juice to come out of an apple. Even though sometimes you want orange juice, you can't have it because you have an apple. Apples can be very good, and I might add that I've got one delicous, crunchy, apple which makes GREAT apple juice, BUT, Sometimes I just want orange juice and that's when I usually get frustrated. SO, my life lesson and my point is that if you find that you're unhappy about something, change your expectations. I have learned to love apple juice and not expect orange juice. It's made life a lot easier!

Anyway, I also wanted to wish my sister Kimberly a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I hope you have a great day, and know that i'm thinking about you.
