my little kylee girl

Teegan and Kale came up to the house to visit us and we painted pumpkins.
Nanny and Kylee Anne

Little Kylee girl on her changing table. She loves to just lay there and stare. She's growing really fast! Her two week check up showed that she's already gained a pound from her birth wieght. She eats A LOT so that explains it.

Her first bath. It wasn't that fun and we decided after this that we don't like baby baths. :)

We took a drive last weekend up into the mountains. we couldn't really get a good picture of the pretty leaves behind us but it was really beautiful.

Me :)

Nanny came to stay with me and Megan and the kids picked her up at the airport. Then they came to see me. It was crazy hair day at their school so that's why they look crazy.

Megan and Nanny and Kylee girl.

Well I'm in a hurry so that'll have to do for now! I love being a mom so far and I'm also Loving having My mom here to help me out.

First week of being a mom

Well, week one down....many more to go. It's been quite fun and exuahsting and I just love this little girl more everyday! And can I just say...WHAT'S WITH THE SNOW!??? It's the beginning of October!!! Anyway, we've had a nice week. Here are some pictures of the life that our lives are centered around!
My little Bili baby. Kylee had a little bit of Jaundice so the doctor ordered her to have photo therapy. Jaundice is when the babies skin looks yellow because of too much blilirubin in the blood. Uv light helps get rid of it and so my little baby got to sleep in this for a few days. Her jaundice is gone and so is the bili bed. I think it's kind of scary looking!!!!...
...but Kylee didn't mind it at all. In fact she slept better in her bili bed than she does in her basinett!
my little angel...
she often goes cross eyed, but I still think this pic is a good representation of what she looks like. Pictures are kind of hard when it comes to actually capturing the "real thing"
tired (yucky) mommy. The biggest problem I've had with feeding her is KEEPING HER AWAKE! I feel somewhat like a slave to her hunger....dramatic I know!
Our Beautiful Kylee girl. This is a "smile" from her right after she ate.
And I love this pic...it looks like she's giggling but she's not. She's probably just passing gas!
Sorry I forgot to rotate this...But This is a picture of me with my little girl. I'm not in many of the pictures so I took one of us together in front of the beautiful flowers that were delivered to my door. Thanks nanny and grandpa Bill!!
This is little Kylee in her Swaddle Me blanket. It is the coolest thing ever and I think every mother should have one. I bought it to support what I have learned from this book that I'm reading called "happiest baby on the block" (thanks Liz!) and one of the best ways to calm a baby is to swaddle them. I found this blanket and it even has a velcro feature that keeps her swaddled tightly all night long. (found at babies r us) She loves it and I would recommend it to ANY mother! (and the book is really good too!)
This is my new favorite picture. This is my little Kylee's soft hands. So precious!

And her name is....

KYLEE ANNE HANSEN!!!!!!!
(The next few blogs are out of order. I'm really retarded at complex blogging, but you'll get the picture!)

Here are some pictures of the newest member of the Hansen family. She has a way with her daddy and she's definately a "self calming" baby. We are so mesmorized with her. She's SOOOO cute!!!!!!!!! If anyone would like to get something for me...I would say one thing. SLEEP! get plenty of it and send it my way because that's the one thing I need right now! I hope you enjoy the pictures....
Daddy and baby at home.

Our little bundle of joy. She likes to eat her hands a lot!

The nurse at the hospital did her hair. I think it's pretty cute! Although, it somewhat resembles a mohawk....hmmmm....
This picture was taken last night at 3 am. Jeremy helped me get some sleep and stayed up to help with the baby. Supposedly he's burping her right now... I think they both had other things on their mind.

Jeremy will hold little Kylee every chance he can get. He even had his friend over to study and held her the whole time. The first day home he ate his dinner over her with her laying on a pillow on his lap. He is also usually slow to get ready in the morning because he tries to get ready with her in his hands. It's kind of funny to watch :)

This is a picture of Kylee with our favorite neighb-
or and landlord Ray.

Proud (and tired) Daddy. We love our little Kylee! She has blessed our home already. What a precious little princess. For those wondering...Jeremy did really well on his Chemistry test. Despite the fact that he studied less than he has for any chem test, he said he remembered everything he needed too. I think there is someone in Heaven looking out for us!

She's HERE!!!! (read the next post first)

She's Finally HERE!!! our little Conference BABy!!!

Well, It all started Sunday morning. I woke up at 5 , and went back to bed and then woke up at 7 20 with undeniable pain. I waited for the pain to go away and when it didn't, I realized I was in labor! I waited it out at home because I didn't think I was very far along, BUT when the contractions started coming at 3-4 min apart, I knew I had to get to the hospital. I checked in at 1030 to find out from the nurse that I was already dialated to a 7 1/2 ( baby comes when you reach a 10) and before I knew it, I was in full labor! She finally arrived at 2:00 pm!!! My labor was basically short and easy (relatively!). I went ALL NATURALE baby! It was cool. I almost caved in and got an apidural, but I didn't. It was a really cool experience. I had a lot of good support from Diana (Jeremy's mom) and Megan my sister. I was lucky to have a big room too, and really nice nurses. I still look back on it all and I can't believe that I've had a baby! It's so sureal! Here are a few pictures of our little baby girl.

Notice the cone on the side instead of the back? Yeah, she came out a little cruked. She managed to squish her nose in the process and it is still recovering!
She's a good cryer!!! Healthy Lungs!

She is a healthy girl!!!!!!!! 6 lb. 8.5 oz!

Prego pictures

Well, since the baby has come now, these pictures aren't as exciting. I had planned on posting them on Monday the 6th, but she came the day before! This picture was taken on September 27th. Although I don't really like prego pictures, I am convinced that I should take some for the "record" and to be able to show my little baby girl how she looked inside of me!

If you look closely in this picture, you can see in the mirror that I still made my bed when I was pregnant!!!!

But apparently I didn't do laundry :) I hope you enjoy!

Goodbye's are always hard!

The smiles are basically fake. We were all crying! I'm missing this cute family soo much! Porter said to me on the phone the other day... (post baby) "did yo baby come in?, Oh, I mean did yo baby come out?" It was really cute.

REWIND from the present time. Pineview with sis and family

Jeremy and two of his brothers joined us.

My wonderful friends!!!! I love them!

Some new friends I've met from my ward in Ogden.

The girls. Nothing in this world can replace sisters!!!!!

We had a wonderful time! Lots of people showed up and I got soo much stuff!!!! I've been lucky enough that we haven't had to buy anything for the baby because so much was given to us! Thanks to everyone who came!!!
