Well, week one down....many more to go. It's been quite fun and exuahsting and I just love this little girl more everyday! And can I just say...WHAT'S WITH THE SNOW!??? It's the beginning of October!!! Anyway, we've had a nice week. Here are some pictures of the life that our lives are centered around!
My little Bili baby. Kylee had a little bit of Jaundice so the doctor ordered her to have photo therapy. Jaundice is when the babies skin looks yellow because of too much blilirubin in the blood. Uv light helps get rid of it and so my little baby got to sleep in this for a few days. Her jaundice is gone and so is the bili bed. I think it's kind of scary looking!!!!...
...but Kylee didn't mind it at all. In fact she slept better in her bili bed than she does in her basinett!

she often goes cross eyed, but I still think this pic is a good representation of what she looks like. Pictures are kind of hard when it comes to actually capturing the "real thing"
tired (yucky) mommy. The biggest problem I've had with feeding her is KEEPING HER AWAKE! I feel somewhat like a slave to her hunger....dramatic I know!

Sorry I forgot to rotate this...But This is a picture of me with my little girl. I'm not in many of the pictures so I took one of us together in front of the beautiful flowers that were delivered to my door. Thanks nanny and grandpa Bill!!
This is little Kylee in her Swaddle Me blanket. It is the coolest thing ever and I think every mother should have one. I bought it to support what I have learned from this book that I'm reading called "happiest baby on the block" (thanks Liz!) and one of the best ways to calm a baby is to swaddle them. I found this blanket and it even has a velcro feature that keeps her swaddled tightly all night long. (found at babies r us) She loves it and I would recommend it to ANY mother! (and the book is really good too!)

Too cute! There will be many more precious moments to come. I'm glad you are enjoying the book. I found a lot of it interesting and helpful, so I'm glad that you are too. I can't tell you the number of times that I've fallen asleep feeding Benjamin (or Rachel when I nursed her). Sometimes I wake up like 2 hours later and there he is asleep with me just 'hanging out'! Good luck with everything, let me know if I can do anything for ya!
I heard about the swaddling being the pimp thing to do for a baby, I think I heard that it makes them remember the uterus. But good thing she got over her jaundice, but seriously most babies have jaundice when they're born. Oh, and the one picture that she looks like she's giggling-- so cute!
You brat! Look at how good you look. I wish that I was there. Mum is on her way. She is so beautiful and you are doing a great job of being a new mummy. Love you

Congrats on the baby she is adorable!!! I am so excited for you!! It just gets better!!! You will ove her more and more everyday and you can't even remember life with out her. She is beautiful and you look amazing. We will be up in Ogden in a few weeks I will give you a call so we can come by and see you!! Good luck and believe me your sleepless nights don't last too long.

She is SO cute! Congrats! How's primary going now that you have a little one? How crazy would that be! I'm sure it's goin great. I miss you and all the wonderful kids in our ward! Are you gonna be around after Christmas? We'd love to see you again!
