Choices
Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing all that I can to help spread the gospel? I think that even in my own day to day life there are plenty of oppurtunities that are hitting me right in the face, but i don't know what to do with them. And even if i'm not spreading the gospel, maybe just the joy that life can bring needs to be spread. So many people aren't living happy lives and can't figure out why they're not happy. If only i could find a way to fix it all for them or make them realize that they're doing it to themselves, obviously that's a dumb idea! but all they need to do is change. Life is about choices...this is what i told my wonderful, teenage nephew Jaron the other day. "why did you lose your cell phone priveledges?" i asked him, he replied " because i chose not to care about my homework". It's that simple. Choices determine consequences. good and bad. If you want a good life, choose the things that will get you there. If you want a good life but you're not getting it, try thinking about the choices you're making and decide what needs to change. It may even be as simple and CHOOSING to be happy about the sad things in your life. Life really comes down to choices. I feel so much sadness when i see people i love suffering and i just wish they could see how easy it is to choose a better life. I guess that's why we're here though. we all have free agency and we all have been given choices. You can't take that away from anyone. Does anyone know what i'm talking about?

Chelsey--you wrote again. It's been awhile. I agree about choices, the gospel brings happiness. Choosing Christ brings joy. It is simple.
I do have a question for you. What is the baby countdown ticker on your blog. Do you have something else you forgot to write about? Let me know.
hehe, oh yeah, that...! We just found out we're having a baby! It's due on October 15th. I guess that's my non-chalant way of letting everyone know...but there's really nothing to hide! We're really excited!
